📍 The entire space is guided by simplicity and practical functionality. For this 523 sq. ft. three-bedroom unit, we meticulously planned the storage system. We specially selected cabinet finishes that match the developer's dark wood door colour, unifying the overall visual style and creating a tidy, coordinated modern feel.
🔸 Living Room: Dynamic Storage & Living Interest
To accommodate the homeowner's hobby of keeping a pet turtle, we reserved a dedicated space for an aquarium within the living room cabinetry. The TV console design features floor-to-ceiling overhead cabinets paired with a floating low cabinet, significantly increasing storage capacity while using the open midsection to reduce visual weight. The design of the glass display cabinet cleverly echoes the glass door elements of the kitchen.
🔸 Master Bedroom: Light-Transmitting Materials & Detailed Consideration
The homeowner particularly favoured the soft, hazy beauty brought by the reeded glass wardrobe doors. Behind the headboard, we intentionally incorporated open shelving with some depth, providing convenient space for bedtime reading material or a phone, showcasing practical care in the details.
🔸 Guest Room: Multi-Functional Platform & Utilising Alcoves
The guest room employs a raised platform design, creating ample hidden storage space. We further utilised an existing wall alcove, custom-fitting a built-in wardrobe combined with a bookshelf, transforming every inch of space into practical function.
🔸 Study: Integrated Design to Free Up Space
Due to the limited area, we integrated the bookshelf and desk into a unified design, reserving an open space in the middle for a printer. This achieves a fully functional yet compact layout that avoids feeling cramped.
